BAKED SQUASH 
3 lbs. yellow squash
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. cracker meal or bread crumbs

Wash and cut up squash. Boil until tender, drain thoroughly, then mash. Add all ingredients to squash except butter. Pour squash in baking dish then spread melted butter over top and sprinkle with cracker meal or crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for about 1 hour or until brown on top.
