BRENNAN'S CAFE BRULOT 
1 (4 inch) cinnamon stick
12 whole cloves
Peel of 2 oranges, cut thin
Peel of 2 lemons, cut thin
6 lumps sugar
8 oz. Brandy
2 oz. Curacao
1 qt. strong black coffee

In a "brulot" bowl or chafing dish, mash cinnamon, cloves, orange and lemon peel, and sugar lumps with ladle. Add Brandy and Curacao and stir together. Carefully ignite Brandy and mix until sugar is dissolved. Gradually add black coffee and continue mixing until flame dies out. Serve in demitasse or "brulot" cup. Serves 10-12.
