BATON ROUGE CAFE AU LAIT 
6-8 c. hot chicory coffee
3 c. whole milk
1/2 c. heavy cream

Combine milk and cream in saucepan. Bring just to a boil. Remove pan from fire immediately. Fill large coffee mugs 1/3 full with hot coffee. Add the milk/cream mixture until cups are 2/3 full. Always put coffee first. Serves 6-8.
