BEEF AND NOODLE CASSEROLE 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 chopped onion
1/2 bell pepper, chopped (lg.)
4 c. narrow noodles
2 cans cream of chicken or mushroom soup (I use one of each)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
3/4 c. grated strong cheese
butter

Saute onions and pepper in butter over low heat. Add beef and salt. Cook until meat is done but not brown. Cook noodles in large amount of boiling water with a tsp. of butter (to prevent sticking). Add salt. Drain and add to beef mixture. Pour in soups with 1 can water. Stir thoroughly.

Place beef mixture in a casserole or baking dish. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Add remaining mixture and sprinkle with cheese. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
