CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS | |
3 breast halves 3 drum sticks 1/2 stick butter Salt and pepper to taste Cook chicken and remove skin and bones, chip up chicken, not too fine, and put back into broth. Make dough as you would for biscuits, bring the broth to a boil and pinch the dough into small pieces, one at a time and drop into broth. Do not stir or cover while cooking, reduce heat and cook for about 15 or 20 minutes. |
