BRANDIED PEACHES 
1 lg. can peaches (halved), drained
Real maple syrup
Brown sugar (dark)
butter
Orange peel, grated
Cinnamon
Peach brandy

Reserve 1/4 cup syrup to put in baking dish.

Place peaches in dish with cavity side up. Fill cavities with real maple syrup. Place 1 teaspoon dark brown sugar in cavity. Place 1 pat butter on top of sugar. Sprinkle orange peel (grated) on top of this. Sprinkle cinnamon over it all. Bake at 300 degrees until bubbly.

Serve warm; place 1 1/2 peaches in dessert dish with some of the liquid. Place generous scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Put more liquid over ice cream and add 1-2 teaspoons peach brandy. Note: You can also sprinkle brandy over peaches before baking to give a more brandy flavor.
