BANANA SPLIT ICE CREAM 
4 eggs
6 c. milk
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
2 c. half and half
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
2 bananas, mashed
1 (10 oz.) jar Maraschino cherries, drained & chopped

Beat eggs with electric mixer at medium speed until frothy. Gradually add sugar, beating until thick. Add 6 cups milk. Add salt, mix well. Pour egg mixture into large saucepan and place over low heat. Cook, stirring constantly until thoroughly heated. Combine egg mixture, sweetened condensed milk, half and half, and vanilla. Stir well. Add bananas and cherries. Pour mixture into freezer container of a one gallon hand-turned or electric mixer Freeze according to manufacturers instructions. Let ripen for one hour.
