IRISH SODA BREAD 
2 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. raisins
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 slightly beaten egg
2/3 c. buttermilk or yogurt
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 tbsp. honey

Sift together first 6 ingredients. Add raisins and brown sugar.

In another bowl mix last 4 ingredients. Add to dry mix and stir until moist. Add a little flour so it is not sticky and knead lightly.

Form into plump dish, cut cross into it. Place in buttered pan at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes.
