IRISH SODA BREAD | |
2 c. flour 1/4 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cream of tartar 2 eggs 6-8 oz. yogurt 3/4 c. floured raisins 1/4 c. melted butter I usually place butter in bread pan and melt while oven is heating. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix together the dry ingredients. Place one egg in a 1 cup measuring cup and add yogurt to fill to the line. Add this and other egg to dry ingredients. Stir until blended. Add floured raisins. Last item to be added will be the melted butter. Bake at 35-40 minutes. |
