ANGEL POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
5 eggs
1 c. milk

Cream the butter and sugar well. Sift together 3 times the flour, baking powder, and salt. Separate the egg whites and yolks. Combine the above ingredients with the egg yolks, milk and the vanilla and almond flavorings. Beat the egg whites and blend in last. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes; turn off and leave in the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
