CANDY BAR COOKIES | |
1 c. butter, softened 1 c. creamy peanut butter 1 c. granulated sugar 1 c. brown sugar, packed 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 60 miniature SNICKERS® candy bars or reg. size, cut in 1" pieces In large mixing bowl, beat butter, peanut butter, granulated and brown sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add to egg and sugar mixture, beating until combined. For each cookie shape a rounded tablespoon of dough around a candy piece. (Note: I rolled the dough around each piece and used dough as needed.) Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until browned. Drizzle with Chocolate Glaze. CHOCOLATE GLAZE: 1 c. sifted powdered sugar 2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa 1 tbsp. milk Add additional milk, 1 teaspoon at a time to make of drizzling consistency. |
