OATMEAL JUMBLE BARS 
1 c. butter, melted
3 c. oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
10 oz. jar jam or preserves (any flavor)

Mix all ingredients except jam, reserve 1 cup of mixture. Spread rest in greased 9 x 13 pan, top with jam to within 1/4 inch of edges. Sprinkle with reserved oat mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
