FRONTIER HOMINY 
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
4 tbsp. butter
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 (19 oz.) can hominy, drained
1 can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. chili powder

Cook onion and pepper in 2 tablespoons butter. Add beef and cook until it loses its pink color. Add hominy and tomato sauce.

In a saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Stir in flour, milk, and 1/2 cup cheese, chili powder. Cook, stirring constantly until cheese is melted. Add meat mixture. Pour into greased casserole. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake in preheated oven at 450 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
