PIZZA BY THE YARD 
1 loaf French bread
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped pitted ripe olives
1 tsp. salt
1/2 to 1 tsp. crushed oregano
Dash of pepper
1 (6 oz.) can (2/3 c.) tomato paste
3 tomatoes, peeled and sliced
6 slices Mozzarella cheese

Cut French loaf lengthwise in half. Combine ground beef with Parmesan cheese, chopped onions, olives, salt, oregano, peppers and tomato paste. Spread evenly on each half loaf. Broil about 5 inches from heat 12 minutes or until the meat is done.

Alternate tomatoes and cheese slices on tops of loaves. Broil 1 or 2 minutes more until cheese melts. Cut in slices. Serves 4 or 5.
