LEMON BARS 
1 c. butter
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 c. sifted flour

Mix butter and sugar together well. Add flour. Press into 8 x 8 inch ungreased pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

FILLING:

2 eggs
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. lemon rind

Blend well and pour over crust. Return to oven and bake 25 minutes at 325 degrees. Remove from oven, cool and then frost with:

FROSTING:

1 c. powdered sugar
Pinch of salt
Butter
Lemon juice
Lemon rind

Enough to taste and make nice spreading consistency.

Cut into bars.
