THE GIFT HORSE FAMOUS FRIED
BISCUITS
 
2 2/3 pkg. dry yeast
warm water
1 qt. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 tbsp. salt
7 to 9 c. flour
shortening

Dissolve yeast in warm water per package directions. Add remaining ingredients and let dough rise. Work into biscuits. Fry in hot shortening until done.
