BRAISED ITALIAN CHICKEN 
2 lb. chicken, cut up
2 (16 oz.) cans of pureed tomatoes
2 tbsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
1 sm. onion, finely chopped
Salt & pepper to taste

Brown chicken in electric skillet at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Drain grease. Add tomatoes, onion, salt, pepper, basil and oregano. Cook at 250 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 4. Best when served over rice.
