SOFT PRETZELS 
1 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1 pkg. active dry yeast
3 1/2 to 4 c. flour

Mix all ingredients together, forming dough. Shape into pretzels. Beat 1 egg and wipe over pretzels. Sprinkle with salt. Place on greased baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
