MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
4 slightly beaten egg
1 1/2 c. sifted all purpose flour
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

In saucepan, combine butter and cocoa. Place over medium heat until butter melts. Remove. Stir in sugar and eggs. Mix well. Add rest of ingredients, stirring well. Turn into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake 30-40 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven. As soon as cake is taken from the oven, sprinkle with miniature marshmallows and spread with the following icing.

CHOCOLATE FROSTING:

1 (1 lb.) pkg. confectioners sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. cocoa
1/2 stick soft butter

Combine and mix until smooth.
