MUD CAKE 
2 c. boiling water
4 sqs. unsweetened Baker's chocolate
1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
Dash salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt chocolate and butter in water in large bowl. Mix in all remaining ingredients, beat until smooth.

Grease and flour cake pan. Bake on lowest rack for approximately 1 1/4 hours at 250 degrees.

When cooled - sprinkle top with powdered sugar - or glaze.
