CHOCOLATE PUFFS 
A Macaroon-type Cookie.

2 egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces, melted
1 1/3 cups coconut flakes
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 300°F.

Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar gradually and continue beating until blended. Add salt and vanilla. Fold in melted chocolate, coconut flakes and nuts.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a baking sheet.

Bake at 300°F for 10 to 15 minutes.

Makes 3 dozen cookies.
