FREEZER COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. finely chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar together, add eggs. After sifting flour, add soda and salt. Add flour a little at a time. Batter will be stiff. Add finely chopped pecans. Roll dough into shape of a log. Wrap with waxed paper and freeze. Take from freezer and slice onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Watch to avoid over cooking. Good treat for unexpected company.
