1 c. butter, softened
1 egg
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
3/4 c. candied cherries
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. powdered sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. candied pineapple
3/4 c. raisins, coarsely chopped (optional)

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg. Gradually add flour and cream of tartar, beating just until mixed. Stir in remaining ingredients.
