PIZZA BY THE YARD 
1 unsliced loaf French bread
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. chopped pitted ripe olives
1/2 tsp. dried crushed oregano
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 lb. ground beef
2 tomatoes sliced
1 green pepper, cut into rings
4 oz. sharp cheese, shredded

Cut loaf lengthwise. Combine tomato paste, Parmesan cheese, onion, olives, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add meat (I cook and drain). Mix well. Spread on top of loaf halves. Bake at 400 degree oven for 20 minutes. Remove from oven; top with tomato slices and green pepper. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake additional 5 minutes. Serves 6.
