Oven Baked Barbeque Chicken

I doubled up the sauce recipe and reduced the brown sugar to about a 1/3 cup per portion. I've always recommended cooking (chicken breasts) at about 450°F for ten minutes each side... makes it very juicy. Back to the sauce though... amazing! I was never a huge bbq chicken fan (my wife loves it) and I absolutely loved the flavor. This is going in my top ten now.

Over all enjoyed this dish. I doubled up on all of the ingredients so I had plenty of sauce to experiment with. The only issue I had was the sauce being a little too sweet. Easy fix though, just added a little pinch of salt and a table spoon of black pepper. Gave it a nice kick without taking away from the other ingredients. Served the chicken with white rice and steamed veggies. Woop!

This was delicious!! I added some canned potatoes to the baked chicken poured the sauce over it and then topped it with parsley flakes, basil, garlic salt, and Parmesan cheese and finished baking it and it was amazing!! I recommend this if you are trying to come up with a side dish to go with the chicken.

I have just put into the oven, this recipe over my chicken drumsticks and covered with foil. I had to substitute the Worcestershire sauce for some Soy sauce and the only mustard I have is bottled mild american mustard, And to get a little bit of hottness I added Ninety Mile HOT Mango & Manuka Sauce seems I didn't have the worcestershire sauce.

This was very good. I double the amounts but used only half of the brown sugar. I might add if using french's prepared mustard to cut back out just a quarter tsp as it did pickup it's flavor quite well. Overall, it was easy to make and delicious. Will be using this again. Thanks for posting this.

Very very good! I also used half the sugar and used beer in place of the water. You can also add some cayenne for a sweet n spicy flavor! Double it so you have some for dunking!

Very very good! Used beer instead of the water and half the sugar. Make extra sauce, you will want it for dipping!

I made this recipe with spicy brown mustard and flour (as a previous comment suggested) everything else as in the recipe and everybody like it! The spicy mustard add a nice tangy touch to the flavor and the flour made it thick on the chicken. The kids (13 & 9) love it and asked me to do it again soon. I will definitely recommended it. Thanks for posting it.

Great recipe! Used less sugar and had to modify using lemonade for lemon juice and didn't have enough ketchup so watered down what I had left to make almost 1/2 cup and added a squirt of sweet baby rays and added liquid smoke turned out pretty thin so I cut up the chicken and put into an 8x8 and completely submerged and baked for another 20 minutes.
