APRICOT NUT BREAD 
2 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 c. sugar
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. salad oil
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1 c. finely chopped nuts
4 tsp. grated orange peel
3/4 c. orange juice
1 c. finely chopped dried apricots

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Measure all ingredients into large mixing bowl and beat on medium speed for 1/2 minute, scraping side and bottom of bowl constantly. Pour into pan and bake 55 to 65 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan and cool before slicing.
