EASY APPLE CRISP 
About 8 c. sliced apples
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water

CRUMB TOPPING:

1 1/2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. butter, softened

Mix cinnamon, salt and water into apples. Place in a 9 x 13 inch buttered cake pan. (Fill to 1/4 inch from top of pan.)

Mix together topping ingredients and sprinkle loosely over the apples.

Bake 350 degrees approximately 40 to 50 minutes or until brown.
