APPLE WALNUT CRISP 
2 cans (21 oz.) apple pie filling
1 lemon
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 box plain yellow cake mix
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. melted butter (2 sticks)

Heat oven to 350°F. Spoon apple pie filling evenly into ungreased 13 x 9 baking pan. Grate rind from lemon and sprinkle over filling. Cut lemon in half and juice lemon halves. Drizzle juice over filling. Sprinkle with half the cinnamon. Pour dry cake mix evenly over apples so it reaches all sides of the pan. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon over cake mix. Sprinkle walnuts over top. Drizzle melted butter over entire pan.

Bake in 350°F oven until top is golden and bubbly and walnuts have browned (about 55 minutes). Top with vanilla ice cream.
