BEANPOT BEEF STEW 
2 lbs. stew beef (very lean beef)
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. tapioca
5 sliced raw carrots
1 c. sliced celery
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. frozen string beans

Add all the above items in the order listed. Cook for 5 hours at 250 degrees. Use an electric bean pot container or a slow cooker. Put on early in the morning (between 8 or 9 a.m.). Cover and cook slowly all day. It will be ready around six or six thirty at night (seven at the latest).
