SUBLIME LOAF 
1 c. coconut
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. vanilla cookie crumbs
1 pkg. lime Jello
1 c. hot water
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. evaporated milk, chilled & whipped

Brown coconut in butter until brown, stirring constantly. Add crumbs and mix well. Press half in bottom of pan. Dissolve Jello in hot water. Stir in sugar and lemon juice and chill until lightly thickened. Fold in whipped milk. Turn onto crumb mix. Top with remaining crumbs. Chill until served.

I also ate this as a child and loved it. Since I didn't have the original recipe I used this one. Would have given it a 5 star rating if only they had said which size jello should have been used as well as the size pan. I used a large jello and 9x9-inch pan and had way too much. Overall taste was very nice.
