MOLASSES CANDY 
1 c. molasses
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vinegar
Butter, the size of a walnut

Boil ingredients until a little dropped in cold water hardens. Pour onto buttered cookie sheet and when cool enough to handle. Take out and pull until quite light in color. Cut with greased scissors and wrap in waxed paper. Store in a cool place. May be flavored with checkerberry.
