CHOCOLATE DOUGHNUTS | |
3 1/2 c. flour 4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 tbsp. melted lard 1 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 6 tbsp. cocoa Mix and roll out dough. Cut with doughnut cutter. Deep fry. |

- Dough is very sticky and will need a lot of flour while picking up and shaping
Cooking:
- Best deep fried in vegetable oil
- Texture and taste was better then expected
- Best with glaze (milk and condense sugar)
- Donuts puffed up to 4x its original size while frying
Overall: I loved it, it came out as desired, but i recommend shaping the donuts thin and small before frying, better taste results. Heat oil to 375°F, and cook for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes on each side.
