POTATO BISCUITS | |
1 c. sifted flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. shortening 1 c. mashed potatoes 1/2 c. water or milk Mix an sift first 3 ingredients. Blend in shortening. Add potato and mix thoroughly. Then add enough liquid to make a soft dough. Roll dough lightly to about 1/2 inch. Cut into biscuits. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes. |
