APPLE CRISP PUDDING 
4 c. sliced peeled apples
1 tsp. apple pie spice or 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 stick butter
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour

Butter 8-inch square baking dish. Add apples and pour water over them. Mix flour, sugar, butter, and apple pie spice. Mix well until crumbly. Spread over apples. Bake uncovered in 375 degree oven for 45 to 60 minutes.
