1 pkg. (less 2/3 c.) yellow cake mix
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Mix until crumbly. Press into 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees 15-20 minutes.

FILLING:

2/3 c. cake mix
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1/2 c. pecans

Beat 1 minute. Pour over crust and bake at 350 degrees 30-35 minutes. Add more pecans if desired.
