BANANA NUT BREAD 
4 lg. over ripe bananas
3 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
4 eggs
1 c. oil
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. dates
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Into a large mixing bowl, mix sugar, oil, eggs, and mashed bananas; blend well. Add flour, except for 1/2 cup. Mix. Add remaining flour with nuts, raisins, and dates to mixture. Pour into a well greased pound tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until the cake springs back when touched in the middle.
