CAPTAIN'S SOUP 
1 med. onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 can cream of celery soup, undiluted
1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 (24 oz.) can V-8 juice
1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables

Cook onion until soft. Add ground beef and broth thoroughly. Add soups, stir until boiling. Add vegetables and simmer until green beans are tender. Makes 2 1/2 quarts. Can be frozen. This recipe is a MEAL served with a salad or dessert or both.
