1 pkg. active dry yeast 3/4 c. warm water (105 to 115 degrees F.) 3/4 c. vegetable oil 3/4 c. warm beer 4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour Salt or garlic salt Grated Parmesan cheese In large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in oil and beer. Gradually stir in flour. Cover; let rise in warm place until double, about 1 hour. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets; sprinkle with salt or garlic salt. Punch down dough. Shape into bread sticks about the width of 2 pencils. Roll in cheese. Place on prepared cookie sheets. (Do not let rise). Bake about 30 minutes. 4 dozen. |
