SOFT BREAD STICKS 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour
1 egg, beaten
Coarse salt

Dissolve the yeast in warm water. Add sugar. Mix in the flour. (This recipe can be complete very quickly in the food processor.) Knead the dough and let rise. Form into bread sticks, pretzels, etc. shapes. Brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes. (Purchase coarse salt at spice shops.) This bread is best served warm from the oven. It doesn't not store well.
