4 1/2 c. white sugar
1 can Carnation evaporated milk
Cook sugar and evaporated milk rapidly for 5 minutes (time after mixture comes to a rapid boil), stirring constantly to keep from burning. Pour mixture over: 1/4 c. butter 1 (10 oz.) Hershey milk chocolate bar 1 (24 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 to 2 c. nuts, if desired
Put these ingredients into large crock or bowl. Pour cooked mixture over other ingredients, mix well. Pour into greased 13 x 9 inch cake pan or for thinner fudge a greased jelly roll pan. This is very delicious and never fails. Keeps well. Makes approximately 5 pounds.
