BREAKFAST GRITS 
1 lb. sausage of choice, browned
1 c. grits, quick cooking
4 c. water
Dash of salt, pepper, garlic powder
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1 (8 oz.) can chopped green chilies, mild

Cook grits in water with salt. Combine in buttered 8" casserole with browned sausage, cheddar cheese, eggs, chiles, seasonings. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour until set.
