PEACH CAKE 
3 c. fresh or canned peaches
2/3 to 1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water

Cook and stir until thick, pour into pan (8 x 8 inches).

BISCUIT:

1 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. shortening

Mix, then add 1/2 cup milk. Stir, put on top of the peaches. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until brown.
