BLARNEY STONES 
2 c. sugar
4 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. boiling water
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
4 egg whites
1/2-1 lb. peanuts
1 recipe frosting

Mix first 3 ingredients. Add boiling water. Let cool some. Mix flour, baking powder and salt together. Add to first mixture. Beat 4 egg whites until stiff. Fold into mixture. Bake in large baking pan at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Test with toothpick. Remove from pan. Cool. Cut into 1 x 2 inch pieces. Frost and roll in ground peanuts. Approximately 24 cakes.
