PERFECT PEACH COBBLER | |
1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 1 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 2/3 c. milk 1 qt. sliced fresh or canned peaches Melt butter in 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Combine sugar, flour, baking powder and milk; mix well. Pour melted butter over the mixture. Do not stir. Arrange peach slices in pan and pour sugar mixture over the top. Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 30 minutes or until done. Any fruit can be substituted for the peaches as long as it is not pie filling. My husband loves this recipe because he said there was no way I could mess it up. |
