SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans, halved or broken
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Combine butter, sugar, and syrup. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolved. Cool. Add eggs, vanilla, salt and mix well.

Pour filling into pie shell and top with pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes.
