SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 c. light brown sugar or 2/3 c. granulated sugar
1/3 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 lg. eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. pecans
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine syrup, sugar, salt, butter and vanilla and mix well. Add slightly beaten eggs. Put pecans into pie shell and pour liquid over the pecans.
