SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1 c. shelled pecans
1/4 c. butter, melted
3 eggs, well beaten
1 unbaked pie shell

Combine sugar, syrup and melted butter. Add beaten eggs and pecans to syrup mixture, mixing thoroughly. Pour filling into pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Cool. Yield: One 9 inch pie.
