SEAFOOD GUMBO 
4 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
2 lg. chopped onions
1 clove minced garlic
1 lg. can tomatoes
1 can condensed chicken broth
2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. liquid red pepper seasoning
1 lb. crab meat
1 pt. oysters
2 tbsp. file powder
Creole boiled rice
2 lb. shrimp

Melt butter in a heavy skillet; add flour. Cook, stirring over low heat until flour turns a rich brown. Stir in onion and garlic; cook about 10 minutes. Add tomatoes, chicken broth, water, salt, Worcestershire sauce and pepper seasonings. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Add crab meat and oysters, shrimp; continue cooking for 10 minutes. Sprinkle file powder into gumbo and add thickened broth. Serve with rice.
