BOURBON BALLS 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
3 tbsp. corn syrup
1/2 c. bourbon
2 1/2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 c. finely chopped nuts
Granulated sugar

Over hot (not boiling) water, melt chocolate morsels; remove from heat. Blend in corn syrup and bourbon.

In a large bowl, combine vanilla wafer crumbs, powdered sugar, and nuts. Add chocolate mixture; mix well. Let stand about 30 minutes. Form into 1-inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Let season in a covered container for several days.
