YEAST DOUGHNUTS 
1 pkg. yeast
1 1/4 c. milk, scalded
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. water
2 1/4 c. flour

Mix and let rise 1 hour.

2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 beaten eggs

Knead. Let rise 1 1/2 hours. Roll and cut. Let rise 45 minutes. Fry. Roll in sugar and cinnamon or powdered sugar and water glaze.
